⚠️ What's wrong
Vehicle description: recreational vehicle chassis. Interference CAN occur between the steer axle slack adjusters and the axle knuckle post during a full wheel cut with the brakes applied.
💥 The risk
This CAN result in diminished braking effort, increasing the risk of a crash.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will replace the slack adjusters with one that will provide clearance.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
