2000 Mastercraft A1 & 2000 Mastercraft A9 + 8 more recall: suspension
⚠️ What's wrong
On certain boat trailers equipped with nhk intex corporation monoleaf boat trailer springs, while the motorist is pulling the boat trailer, the monoleaf spring on the trailer could break.
💥 The risk
This could cause the motorist to lose control of the trailer and vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will replace all affected monoleaf springs. Owner notification began august 28, 2002. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact mastercraft at 1-800-443-8774.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
