2001–2002 Pleasure Way Excel & 2001–2002 Pleasure Way Lexor recall: electrical system
⚠️ What's wrong
On certain motor homes, the under hood charging system wiring may be improperly routed and could come in contact with other under hood components.
💥 The risk
This could result in a possible risk of damage to the wire's protective covering from an electrical short.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will inspect the wiring and, if necessary, replace the wire and re-routed. Owner notification began september 17, 2002. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact pleasure-way at 1-306-934-6578.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
