2003 Bentley Arnage R & 2003 Bentley Arnage RL + 1 more recall: steering
⚠️ What's wrong
The flexible hose carrying central hydraulic system fluid between the regulator and the accumulator could leak.
💥 The risk
Leaking fluid could deplete the reservoir and cause a loss of power assist to the steering and braking systems, increasing the risk of a crash.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will replace the hose. Owner notification is expected to begin april 7, 2003. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact bentley at 1-800-777-6923.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
