2004 Foretravel Unicoach recall: windows, wipers & mirrors
⚠️ What's wrong
On certain motorhomes, the windshield wiper motor crank arm spindle weld CAN break.
💥 The risk
This could result in the windshield wipers not working properly, causing a loss of visibility to a driver, which could result in a crash.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will replace the crank arms. Owner notification began january 29, 2004. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact foretravel at 1-800-955-6226.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
