2001 Palmer Trailer recall: brakes
⚠️ What's wrong
Certain end dump Trailer equipped with webb wheel platinum series brake drums, these brake drums could crack on the braking surface.
💥 The risk
This could result in reduction or complete loss of braking which could result in a vehicle crash.
🔧 The fix
Dealer will inspect and replace the brake drum.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
