2003 Holiday Rambler Navigator & 2003 Monaco Coach Dynasty recall: equipment
⚠️ What's wrong
On certain motor homes, the water heater was installed under the slide-out, which made it possible for fumes to enter the coach when the water heater is lit and the coach is parked with the slide-out extended.
💥 The risk
This CAN cause fumes to come up inside the coach, increasing the risk of injury to the vehicle occupants.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will relocate the water heater to the opposite side of the motor home. Owner notification began on june 30, 2004. Owners should contact monaco at 1-800-685-6545.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
