2004 Prevost H3-41 & 2004 Prevost H3-45 + 5 more recall: suspension
⚠️ What's wrong
On certain motor coaches and motor homes, cracks were found in the material used to make suspension radius rod pins.
💥 The risk
Broken rod pins CAN cause a loss of control of the vehicle, which could result in a crash.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will inspect all parts and, if necessary, replace the rod pins. The recall is expected to begin during september 2004. Customers may also contact prevost at 1-418-831-5432.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
