2001–2005 Aston Martin V12 & 2001–2005 Aston Martin Vanquish recall: speed control
⚠️ What's wrong
On certain passenger vehicles, the throttle pedal assembly CAN become displaced from its housing.
💥 The risk
A driver could experience loss of throttle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will inspect and replace, if necessary, the throttle pedals. The recall began on december 23, 2004. Owners should contact aston martin at 201-818-8352.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
