2005 IC CE recall: brakes

⚠️ What's wrong

Certain ic CE 2005 school buses manufactured between april 27 and october 13, 2004. The locknut that secures the hydraulic brake pivot bolt may not be torqued properly.

💥 The risk

Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
