2006 Itasca Navion & 2006 Winnebago View recall: suspension
⚠️ What's wrong
On certain motor homes equipped with optional rear suspension air bags, the upper mount CAN move and contact the tire.
💥 The risk
This could damage the tire and cause vehicle instability which could result in a crash.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will install a rear suspension air bag upper mount reinforcement kit. The recall began on june 17, 2005. Owners may contact winnebago at 1-641-585-6939.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
