2004 Corbeil Minibus recall: body & structure
⚠️ What's wrong
Certain 2004 corbeil school buses manufactured between may 3 and june 4, 2004. Expired glue was used to adhere the roof joints which fails to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 221, school bus body joint strength.
💥 The risk
In the event of a vehicle crash, the longitudinal roof joint could have less strength as required by FMVSS 221, increasing the risk of injury.
🔧 The fix
Corbeil will notify its owners and will provide a free repair kit. The recall began on march 17, 2006. Owners may contact les entreprises customer service at 1-888-439-3577 ext. 260.
