2004–2006 Prevost H3-41 & 2004–2006 Prevost H3-45 recall: windows, wipers & mirrors
⚠️ What's wrong
On certain multiplex motor coaches, the wiper motor thermal protection is stopping the motor when the wipers are functioning for a long time in second speed.
💥 The risk
Depending on the occurrence and weather situation, driver visibility could be reduced, which could result in a crash.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will install a new wiper harness and a new multiplex program will be downloaded in all coaches. The recall began on november 23, 2005. Owners may contact prevost at 1-418-831-2046.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
