⚠️ What's wrong
ON certain buses equipped with seat belts, the t-nut which holds the seat leg to the floor track is missing machined bevels.
💥 The risk
In the event of a crash, without the bevels, the sharp edge could come through the floor track increasing the risk of injury to seat occupant.
🔧 The fix
Owners will be provided with the necessary parts to replace the t-nuts free of charge. The recall began ON march 24, 2006. Owners may contact glaval bus at 1-800-445-2825.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
