2001–2007 Country Coach Xlii recall: engine

⚠️ What's wrong

On certain motor homes equipped with detroit diesel series C-60 engines, the electronic control module (ECM) will require to be reprogrammed to current mainframe calibrations.

💥 The risk

Reprogramming the ECM will prevent the potential of a turbocharger failure from progressing to an engine compartment fire.

🔧 The fix

Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
