2004 Bentley Continental GT recall: brakes
⚠️ What's wrong
On certain passenger vehicles, there is the potential for insufficient clearance between a brake pipe and an engine mounted hose clip, which could eventually result in failure of the brake pipe.
💥 The risk
This failure could result in an increased stopping distance when braking increasing the risk of a crash and also a risk of fire due to brake fluid escaping into the engine compartment.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will inspect to ascertain the clearance between the brake pipe and hose clip and repair as necessary free of charge. The recall began on september 5, 2006. Owners may contact bentley at 248-754-6137.
