2005 Ducati Monster 620 & 2005 Ducati Monster 620 Dark recall: fuel system
⚠️ What's wrong
On certain motorcycles, the fuel pump and ignition relays installed during production could be defective. This CAN cause the instrument panel to stop functioning and the engine to stop.
💥 The risk
If the engine stopped while the motorcycle was being driven, it could increase the risk of a crash.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will replace the fuel pump and igntion relays. The recall is expected to begin during october 2006. Owners may contact ducati at 1-408-253-0499.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
