2006–2007 Circle J Runabout recall: suspension

⚠️ What's wrong

On certain trailers, one or more of the eight nuts and bolts attaching the two axles to the frames may not have been sufficiently tightened.

💥 The risk

Insufficiently tightened nuts could come off and potentially one or both of the axles could separate from the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.

🔧 The fix

Dealers will re-torque the nuts and bolts that attach the axles to the frame of the trailer free of charge. The recall began on october 18, 2006. Owners may contact western world at 1-800-247-2535.

Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
