2003–2006 Earthroamer XV-LT recall: body & structure
⚠️ What's wrong
On certain recreational vehicles built with front camper mount assembly revisions b or c, welds on the front camper mounts CAN develop cracks.
💥 The risk
This overstress condition could lead to a failure of the camper mounting system, which could result in a crash.
🔧 The fix
Earthroamer will inspect and replace the front camper mount. The recall began on september 27, 2006. Owners may contact earthroamer at [email protected] or call bill on 303-881-4498; michele at 202-887-8261; or matt on 303-929-1306.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
