2007 Starcraft Folding Camping Trailer & 2007 Starcraft S/T recall: suspension
⚠️ What's wrong
On certain Folding Camping and travel trailers, the hub weld is insufficient to hold the spindle to the axle tube.
💥 The risk
Spindle separation from the axle tube CAN occur, increasing the risk of a crash.
🔧 The fix
Starcraft is working with lippert to replace the axles on the affected trailers. The manufacturer has not yet provided an owner notification schedule for this campaign. Owners may contact starcraft at 1-260-593-2550..
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
