2008 Fleetwood Jamboree & 2008 Fleetwood Tioga recall: wheels
⚠️ What's wrong
On certain motor homes, the spare wheel,when installed on the front axle, may contact the front brake caliper mounting brackets and the driver may experience a grinding/scraping noise in the front with the spare wheel installed.
💥 The risk
This could cause premature wheel failure resulting in a loss of vehicle control or a crash could occur.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will inspect and install the correct spare wheel. The recall began on november 5, 2007. Owners may contact fleetwood at 800-322-8216.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
