2006–2007 Eldorado Aero Elite & 2008 Eldorado Aerolite recall: suspension
⚠️ What's wrong
On certain buses built on chevrolet chassis and equipped with link suspension brackets, the axle side lateral control rod bracket has cracked in some cases. This crack could result in a failure of the bracket.
💥 The risk
If the lateral control rod bracket fractures, the handling of the vehicle will be adversely affected, including possible loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
🔧 The fix
Eldorado is working with link to repair these buses (please see 07E086). Link will provide repair kits free of charge. Owners may contact link at 1-800-222-6283 or eldorado national at 1-937-596-6849.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
