2004, 2006 Bentley Continental Flying Spur & 2004, 2006 Bentley Continental GT recall: airbag
⚠️ What's wrong
Bentley is recalling 4 my 2004 and 2006 Continental GT and Continental Flying Spur vehicles. The replacement air bag trimmed covers have been manufactured with tethers of an incorrect length.
💥 The risk
In the event of a crash, this could result in damage to the air bag itself during deployment increasing the risk of injuries.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will replace the passenger's air bag cover free of charge. The recall began on march 11, 2008. Owners may contact bentley at 1-800-777-6923.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
