2008 Keystone Outback Loft recall: body & structure
⚠️ What's wrong
Keystone is recalling 11 my 2008 Outback Loft travel trailers model 27V. The Loft roof lift mechanism may not be properly secured.
💥 The risk
If the Loft roof lift mechanism is not properly secure and/or used without the safety poles, an increased risk or personal injury and property damage exists.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will secure the lift mechanism with different fasteners. The remedy will be performed free of charge. The recall began on june 5, 2009. Owners may contact keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
