2006–2007 Millennium Transit R80THN recall: interior lighting
⚠️ What's wrong
Millennium transit services is recalling certain model year 2006 and 2007 transit buses, model R80THN, manufactured between march 2006 and december 2008, equipped with luminator horizon LED side destination signs. The connector board CAN corrode due to an accumulation of moisture under the connector.
💥 The risk
A short could occur, possibly causing smoke and fire.
🔧 The fix
Millennium will notify owners and repair the buses free of charge. The safety recall began onseptember 30, 2009. Owners may contact millennium at 1-575-347-7534.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
