2007 Coach And Equipment Phoenix recall: equipment
⚠️ What's wrong
Coach & equipment is recalling one model year 2007 Phoenix shuttle bus manufactured during january 2007 equipped with trans/air air conditioning systems. Each trans/air system comes with an electrical kit and ec pc board which if improperly installed could overheat.
💥 The risk
Overheating of the pc board could result in a fire.
🔧 The fix
Coach & equipment will notify the owner and the bus will be repaired free of charge. The repair will be performed by trans/air. The safety recall began on october 8, 2009. Owners may contact trans/air warrant and service department at 1-800-673-2448 or coach & equipment at 1-315-536-2321.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
