2010 Triple E RV Regency GT recall: equipment
⚠️ What's wrong
Triple e is recalling certain model year 2010 Regency GT 29DB and GT28DB motorhomes equipped with flexsteel easy-bed sofa for failing to comply with federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 207, "seating system." the easy bed sofa was manufactured without a rollover safety locking LATCH.
💥 The risk
In the event of a motor vehicle roll over the easy bed may want to open, with the weight of a seat belted occupant causing the occupant to be injured from the seat belt.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will install a locking LATCH on the easy bed sofa free of charge. The safety recall began on on march 12, 2010. Owners may contact triple e at 204-325-4361.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
