2009–2011 Monaco RV Monarch & 2010–2011 Monaco RV Admiral recall: windows, wipers & mirrors
⚠️ What's wrong
Navistar is recalling certain model year 2009-2011 monaco Monarch and model year 2010-2011 holiday rambler Admiral recreational vehicles manufactured from june 4, 2009, through june 26, 2010. The windshield wiper system may become inoperable without warning resulting in reduced driver visibility.
💥 The risk
Decreased driver visibility may increase the risk of a crash possibly resulting in property damage, personal injury or death.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will inspect and correct if necessary the windshield wiper system free of charge. The safety recall began on october 27, 2010. Owners may contact navistar at 1-800-448-7825.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
