2010 Ducati MTS1200 recall: fuel system
⚠️ What's wrong
Ducati is recalling certain model year 2010 mts 1200S motorcycles. In the event the driver should downshift or maneuver with the clutch disengaged and the engine at idle, the vehicle could stall.
💥 The risk
Engine stalling could increase the risk of crash.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will re-flash the electronic control unit free of charge. The safety recall began on february 2, 2011. Owners may contact ducati at 800-231-6696.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
