2011 Fleetwood Discovery & 2011 Fleetwood Providence + 1 more recall: electrical system
⚠️ What's wrong
Fleetwood rv is recalling certain model year 2011 Discovery, Revolution LE and Providence class a motor homes. The internal circuit board of the itc brand dimmer switch CAN fail and overheat.
💥 The risk
Overheating of the dimmer switch CAN result in personal injury during the failure.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will inspect the dimmer switches and replace as necessary free of charge. The safety recall began on june 13, 2011. Owners may contact fleetwood relations at 1-800-509-3418.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
