2012 Dutchmen Voltage recall: fuel system

⚠️ What's wrong

Dutchmen is recalling certain model year 2012 Voltage travel trailers manufactured from january 3, 2011, through july 8, 2011, and manufactured with fuel supply and fuel return hoses that may contain a splice in the fuel line.

💥 The risk

Lines that contain a splice may leak fuel, which could result in a potential fire.

🔧 The fix

Dealers will inspect the fuel lines between the fuel tank and the generator. If a splice is found, the fuel lines will be replaced free of charge. The safety recall is expected to begin during august 2011. Owners may contact dutchmen at 1-574-537-0700.

Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
