2009, 2011 Executive Coach BUS 550 & 2010–2011 Executive Coach Limousine recall: equipment
⚠️ What's wrong
Executive coach is recalling certain model year 2010-2011 lincoln town car limousines and model year 2009 and 2011 ford BUS 550 vehicles equipped with sure power battery separator devices, due to overheating.
💥 The risk
Overheating of the battery separator CAN result in smoke and possible fire.
🔧 The fix
Executive coach will notify owners and replace the battery separators free of charge. The recall began on february 14, 2012. Owners may contact executive coach at 888-322-9272.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
