2014–2019 Forest River Rockport recall: body & structure
⚠️ What's wrong
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2014-2019 Rockport Work Truck vehicles. The roof and front cap may have been improperly fastened together, potentially allowing the roof to detach from the front cap and vehicle.
💥 The risk
If the roof detaches from the vehicle, it can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
🔧 The fix
Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the vehicles and properly secure the roofs, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began February 3, 2020. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-522-7599. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-1123.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
