2020 Bulk Tank International Tklqxsr recall: steering
⚠️ What's wrong
Bulk Tank International S. de R.L. de C (Bulk Tank) is recalling certain 2020 TKLQXSR trailers. The steering arm may fracture during certain conditions, such as low speed and high side-loading.
💥 The risk
The fractured steering arm and tie rod can separate and fall to the ground, increasing the risk of a crash.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will install a new steering arm and additional welds, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 26, 2022. Owners may contact Bulk Tank customer service at 1-419-198-3300.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
