2021–2023 International MV recall: electrical system

⚠️ What's wrong

Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2021-2023 International MV vehicles. The high voltage positive cables that connect the battery packs to the manual service disconnects (MSD) may have been mislabeled.

💥 The risk

Remedy parts are expected to become available 1st Quarter of 2023. Owners may contact Navistar's customer service at 1-800-448-7825. Navistar's number for this recall is 22522.

Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
