2024 Aurora AART18RD & 2024 Catalina ACAT18RDL recall: equipment
⚠️ What's wrong
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 Aurora and Catalina travel trailers. The furnace may have been installed directly on top of vinyl linoleum floor, which can allow the floor to overheat.
💥 The risk
Overheated vinyl linoleum flooring increases the risk of a fire.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will install a panel between the furnace and the linoleum, free of charge. All affected vehicles are still in dealer inventory and therefore no owner notification letters will be mailed. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-825-4995. Forest River's number for this recall is 205-1778.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
