2023–2024 Ember E-Series & 2023–2024 Ember Overland Series + 1 more recall: equipment
⚠️ What's wrong
Ember Recreational Vehicles, INC (Ember) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Overland Series, Touring Edition, and E-Series travel trailers. The certification labels list an incorrect cargo carrying capacity, which can allow the trailer to become overloaded. As such, these trailers fail to comply with 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
💥 The risk
An overloaded trailer increases the risk of a crash.
🔧 The fix
Ember will mail labels to owners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 19, 2024. Owners may contact Ember customer service at 1-844-732-4204.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
