2019–2020 Trail King Tkhdg recall: equipment
⚠️ What's wrong
Trail King Industries, Inc. (Trail King) is recalling certain 2019-2020 TKHDG Paver Special trailers. The gooseneck lift lower cylinder mount may fatigue and crack, which can cause the trailer to drop suddenly during the loading or unloading process.
💥 The risk
A trailer that suddenly drops to the ground during loading or unloading increases the risk of injury.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will install reinforcements to the lower cylinder mount, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 18, 2024. Owners may contact Trail King customer service at 1-800-843-3324.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
