2024 Pagani Utopia recall: airbag
⚠️ What's wrong
Pagani S.p.A (Pagani) is recalling certain 2024 Utopia vehicles. The passenger side dashboard panel may have been manufactured incorrectly, which can cause the air bag not to deploy as intended.
💥 The risk
During air bag deployment, the dashboard panel may damage the air bag or cause the air bag to deploy improperly, increasing the risk of injury.
🔧 The fix
Dealers will repair the dashboard panel by applying kevlar strips, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 12, 2024. Owners may contact Pagani S.p.A customer service at +39 059 4739201.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
