2019–2020 Safari Condo Alto recall: equipment
⚠️ What's wrong
Par Nado Inc (Par Nado) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Alto F2114 and F1743 travel trailers equipped with certain Dometic PI8022 2-burner LPG cooktops. The aluminum burner tubes that connect to the gas valves may crack and cause a gas leak.
💥 The risk
A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
🔧 The fix
Owners are advised to not operate cooktop and to turn off the gas supply at the propane tank. Dealers will install a support bracket on the supply line. Dealers will inspect and replace the cooktop as necessary. All repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 9, 2026. Owners may contact Par Nado customer service at 1-418-426-3666. Par Nado's number for this recall is 2025-001.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
