2022–2024 Fly E-Bike FLY-10 & 2024 Fwmoto FLY-10 recall: brakes

⚠️ What's wrong

FWMOTO INC. (FLYE) is recalling certain 2024 FWMOTO FLY-10 and 2022-2024 FLY E-BIKE FLY-10 scooters. The brake pads may provide insufficient braking performance. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 122, β€œMotorcycle Brake Systems.”

πŸ’₯ The risk

Insufficient braking performance can extend the distance required to stop or cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

πŸ”§ The fix

FLYE will replace the brake pads, free of charge, or repurchase the scooter. Owner notification letters were mailed March 27, 2026. Owners may contact FLYE customer service at 646-961-5177 or email [email protected].

Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
