2025–2026 Oshkosh Ngdv & 2025–2026 Oshkosh Ngdv Electric recall: brakes
⚠️ What's wrong
Oshkosh Corporation (Oshkosh Defense) is recalling certain 2025-2026 NGDV vehicles. The mounting pin and retaining clip that retain the brake actuator rod to the brake pedal may not have been installed.
💥 The risk
An unsecured brake pedal can separate from the actuator, causing a loss of braking ability and increase the risk of a crash.
🔧 The fix
Oshkosh Defense will inspect and install the mounting pin and retaining clip as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on February 16, 2026. Owners may contact Oshkosh Defense customer service at 1-833-304-8100. Oshkosh Defense's number for this recall is NGDV_TSB_059.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
