2010 Lexus GX460 recall: stability control
⚠️ What's wrong
Toyota is recalling certain model year 2010 lexus GX460 passenger vehicles manufactured from november 16, 2009 through april 8, 2010. If the vehicle is driven through a sharp turn at high speed, the vehicle may skid in a sideways direction.
💥 The risk
Under certain conditions the vehicle could roll over and a crash could occur.
🔧 The fix
Toyota will notify owners and dealers will repair the vehicles by reprogramming the vehicle stability control free of charge. The safety recall began on may 18, 2010. Owners may contact toyota at 1-800-331-4331.
Is the fix free? Yes. Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer under federal law, including parts and labor. (Vehicles more than 15 years old when the recall was announced can be excluded, but most manufacturers still fix them.)
